Novak’s HISTORICAL WIN at the Nitto ATP Finals – a beautiful ending to a dramatic year!

Novak Djokovic has once again proved why he’s achieved so much in tennis. The Serbian superstar defeated Casper Ruud 7-5, 6-3 in the Turin finals on Sunday. 

After winning the group stage thriller vs Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(2) and two very close sets in the semi-finals against Taylor Fritz 7-6(5), 7-6(6), the question was – can he find the strength to prevail against Ruud in the finals? But the champ never gives up.

His stellar returns and great defense against Casper’s strong hitting helped him prevail in 93 minutes. But it was his mentality that put him in a position to break the opponent’s serve, as he made the perfect shots when it was needed the most.

After a year full of drama – missing tournaments and losing his Wimbledon title points, the champion has shown that whatever you put on his back, he knows only one path – and that is back to the top!
