Predrag Sapina

Predrag Sapina is a senior professional physiotherapist with a degree from the College of Health Vocational Studies in Belgrade. He has extensive experience and multiple professional competencies. In 1999, Sapina worked at the Orthopedic Institute Banjica as a physiotherapist on the preoperative preparation of patients, as well as in rehabilitation after non-surgical and surgical patient treatment. This implied restoring the range of motion, resolving contractures, muscle strengthening, training for walking with stacks, establishing proper gait and joint movement, and correcting spine deformities in children. He entered the world of sports in 2000 when he became the head physiotherapist of the youth basketball club “Belgrade”. In 2002 Sapina became a part of the basketball club (BC) “Beopetrol” as the head physiotherapist and he stayed in that position until 2004. At the 2005 European basketball championship U20 in Russia, he worked as the head physiotherapist of the Serbian national team. Serbia completed the championship in third place and won the bronze medal. During the period from 2007 to 2019, Predrag worked as the head physiotherapist in one of the most successful eras of BC “Partizan” which competed in the Euroleague, where they reached the Final Four. Also, during this period, BC “Partizan” has won the state championship 8 times and the regional NLB League 6 times. In 2019 Predrag worked as the head physiotherapist for the professional tennis player Matija Pecotic, a member of the Croatian Davis Cup national team. In 2021 and 2022 Predrag proved an irreplaceable member of the medical teams for ATP Challenger in Belgrade, WTA Serbia Ladies Open in Belgrade, and ATP Serbia Open in Belgrade.
